The data acquisition system unit is run by a powerful 80C552 microcontroller with:
256KB EPROM memory
512 KB RAM
256KB EEPROM memory.
In addition to the three 8 bit parallel ports available for any kind of interface, there are also 5 serial ports:
4 RS232 connections
1 RS485 connection

Programming is in "C" Language based on a real time core allowing simultaneous dialogue at 64KB through four ports

Thanks to the Supercom card, the system can be entirely parametered. All the optics / arrows can be separately controlled. The PC proqramminq software means that you can attribute all the following general or specific parameters to each of the optics or arrows:
-Module management
-Light-up mode, flashing, single flash or double flash.
-Overall period
-Optic and arrow lighting up time
-Relative optic and arrow lighting up time synchronised or staggered
-Definition of order
-Managing erase time
-Managing day / night cell switching
-Managing day / night cell attenuation
The software also allows you to:
-visualise all the parameters simultaneously
-visualise the optic/arrow parameters
-visualise system parapmeters
-visualise transmission status
